About
L’Association Forêts Modèles d’Ifrane s’inscrit dans une démarche de gestion durable des territoires forestiers, de conservation de la biodiversité et de développement local. Elle contribue à la mobilisation des acteurs locaux autour de la valorisation des ressources forestières, de l’éducation environnementale et de la promotion d’activités compatibles avec la préservation des écosystèmes, notamment dans le contexte du Parc national d’Ifrane et des paysages du Moyen Atlas.
Each member keeps its own ground
Joining the network costs an association neither its autonomy, its governance, nor its funding. Each member goes on running its projects under its own name. The network adds three things: a shared voice before decision-makers, a pooling of methods between teams working on the same issues, and a calendar of activities open to members and the public alike.
