About
The Ifrane Model Forests Association is part of an approach to the sustainable management of forest territories, biodiversity conservation and local development. It helps mobilise local stakeholders around promoting forest resources, environmental education and activities compatible with preserving ecosystems, notably in the context of Ifrane National Park and the landscapes of the Middle Atlas.
Each member keeps its own ground
Joining the network costs an association neither its autonomy, its governance, nor its funding. Each member goes on running its projects under its own name. The network adds three things: a shared voice before decision-makers, a pooling of methods between teams working on the same issues, and a calendar of activities open to members and the public alike.
Take part in the network’s activities
Assemblies, training sessions, regeneration work and field trips are open to members and to the public alike.
