Atlas Cedrus Network — Together for the cedar forest of the Atlas

An associative network working for the preservation and the sustainable development of the Atlas Cedar territories.

More than a Biosphere, the Moroccan cedar territory is the living base of a socio-ecological area bringing together three provinces: Ifrane, Khénifra and Midelt. Spread over close to 1,350,000 hectares, the territory today faces the challenges of climate change, overgrazing and the scattering of local initiatives. Out of that necessity Atlas Cedrus was born: a network carrying the shared voice of local initiatives, to coordinate their action and to build a common knowledge infrastructure serving the preservation of the cedar forest.
