About
The Tadrart Association for Mountain Development, created in 2009 and based in the commune of Aït Yahya, Midelt province, works to promote ecotourism and nature preservation in mountain territories. It works in particular in Eastern High Atlas National Park, where it develops socio-economic activities, environmental education and the creation of sustainable livelihoods. Its actions aim in particular to promote natural heritage, support local populations and reduce pressure on natural resources.
Each member keeps its own ground
Joining the network costs an association neither its autonomy, its governance, nor its funding. Each member goes on running its projects under its own name. The network adds three things: a shared voice before decision-makers, a pooling of methods between teams working on the same issues, and a calendar of activities open to members and the public alike.

Assemblies, training sessions, regeneration work and field trips are open to members and to the public alike.
