About

AMEPN is a national NGO created in 1997, specialising in nature conservation, promoting biodiversity and developing ecotourism. In Ifrane, it works in particular in Ifrane National Park and the Atlas Cedar Biosphere Reserve, through environmental education, ecotourism training, the promotion of ecosystems and the creation of ecotourism routes. It also works to strengthen the capacities of local stakeholders so that ecotourism becomes a lever for conservation and local socio-economic development.

Each member keeps its own ground

Joining the network costs an association neither its autonomy, its governance, nor its funding. Each member goes on running its projects under its own name. The network adds three things: a shared voice before decision-makers, a pooling of methods between teams working on the same issues, and a calendar of activities open to members and the public alike.

Our story

Take part in the network’s activities
