About
ASCOPAM-DT is a regional organisation created in 2015 to federate and strengthen the aromatic and medicinal plant (AMP) cooperatives of Drâa-Tafilalet. It works to preserve and promote plant biodiversity, develop AMP value chains and strengthen the technical and organisational capacities of cooperatives. It also works on the domestication, processing and marketing of AMPs, with the aim of creating local income and jobs, notably for rural women and young people.
Each member keeps its own ground
Joining the network costs an association neither its autonomy, its governance, nor its funding. Each member goes on running its projects under its own name. The network adds three things: a shared voice before decision-makers, a pooling of methods between teams working on the same issues, and a calendar of activities open to members and the public alike.

Assemblies, training sessions, regeneration work and field trips are open to members and to the public alike.
