About
The Alpe Atlas Association is an organisation committed to preserving natural resources and biodiversity and to promoting sustainable local development in the Khénifra region. It develops ecotourism initiatives in Khénifra National Park, combining nature conservation, environmental awareness and the involvement of local communities. Its actions also include training young people in water sports such as kayaking and rafting, as well as raising awareness of the protection of species such as the brown trout and the Barbary macaque.
Each member keeps its own ground
Joining the network costs an association neither its autonomy, its governance, nor its funding. Each member goes on running its projects under its own name. The network adds three things: a shared voice before decision-makers, a pooling of methods between teams working on the same issues, and a calendar of activities open to members and the public alike.
Take part in the network’s activities
Assemblies, training sessions, regeneration work and field trips are open to members and to the public alike.
